M13 - GREAT GLOBULAR IN HERCULES

This cluster, containing 500,000 stars, is just visible to the naked eye.
The top image is a color composite taken 6/18/04 stack of 5 each LRGB at 30 sec each
(L at 15 sec each) at f/3.3.
The bottom image is the exact same field of view intentionally "overexposed" to
show the true extent of this mighty globular and its half-million stars. Stack of
30-second exposures, clear filter only.
